Adventures at Trader Joe's: Cauli Rice
Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE TJ's. We don't have one in New Orleans yet, but they are close to complete with the one on Vets. I have to drive to Baton Rouge on Perkins Road to get to the only TJ's in Louisiana. It's a trek I don't mind making when I need a creative food outlet. I'm actually quite annoying when it comes to Traders, I like to talk about it and everything I got and I probably use the words "traders" and "joes" WAY too much in a paragraph.
In the future, I think I will try to snap some photos of my actual shopping journey, but today I bring you a simple recipe I decided to try with TJ's cauliflower rice. They also have a frozen version that I want to try. I spent just shy of $200, so I could fill an entire blog with recipes I created using my new ingredients. For today, let's just start with cauli rice since I've probably now annoyed you all with the use of TJ's name 100 times. Enjoy!
Saute a little onions and gah-lic, to your liking of course. This adds a little flavor and texture.

I've heard a lot about the 21 Seasoning Salute so I wanted to try it in this recipe. It goes great, but you can always use what you have (rosemary, thyme, Italian seasonings).
Ta-Dah!!!
And there ya have it, some sauteed cauli rice with onions, garlic, and seasonings. You could always puree this, but I didn't want it mushy.
