Now, onto the honeymoon!

We were home for a couple of weeks, which I highly recommend after you get married. Settle in, do laundry, catch up on sleep. Wait a short period of time before you go on the trip of a lifetime. For us, this is a trip of a lifetime.

We stayed at The Grand Wailea and it was beautiful and in a perfect location in Wailea. This was a VERY generous gift from Paul's parents.

We rented a convertible, so we would have our own wheels to see as much of Maui as we could.  We ended up with a Jeep (long rental agency story that was a NIGHTMARE).

Paul's priority was fine dining - there were a couple of restaurants he wanted to be sure to hit. Here are the places on the docket:
Mill House
Mama's Fish House
Tinroof

We also visited Aunt Sandy's for the BEST banana bread and other snacks - this was at the midpoint on the road to Hana.
Eskimo Candy, Cafe O'Lei, Humu, Ko, South Maui Fish Market, and Poi by the Pound were also enjoyed with delight.

The winner: Mama's Fish House

Don't worry, we did more than eat! We spent a day doing the Road to Hana drive and a couple of days were spent between the beach and the pool.

Enjoy some photos from our fabulous honeymoon!
