How did they mess this up???

I just had to put this picture on here... I'll first have to explain the when, how, & where.

It's Friday November 19th and family and friends are gathered at my aunt Julie (JuJu)'s house, overeating on gumbo, potato salad, etc while waiting to head to Rock-n-Bowl. JuJu's good friend, Nidia, decided to bring a cake from the local grocery store, Rouses. Before opening the cake box after we stuffed our faces with gumbo, she began telling a story about the cake before we could see it.

The story went a little like this....

So I went to the friendly, neighborhood supermarket, Rouses, and told them I wanted a cake with black icing, and in white, I want it to say Happy Birthday, and in big letters, Juicy. (Juicy = another nickname for JuJu/Julie). So she stopped by later to pick up the cake. Her biggest mistake would turn out to be not checking the cake before getting into her car.

This is the end result...

Does anyone want to explain to me the misinterpretation? I guess when she said 'in white and big' they decided to put that before her name... and why the parenthesis?!?!! Oh goodness. I guess it ended up being way funnier and was such a discussion piece. We ended up drowning our laughter with a couple of drinks at Rock-n-bowl.

So you see, the lessons learned from this are: ALWAYS check your cake before you check out and don't ever be afraid to show up at a Noto gathering with any food item - no matter what is written in icing. :)
