Rolo Pretzels... aka CRACK!
This recipe can be found on the back of the bag of rolos, but a coworker made these and I was ADDICTED!
My next attempt will be to make a 'turtle' out of this - instead of using another pretzel on top, I want to try a pecan half.. that idea came from my aunt at Thanksgiving! Can't wait to try it.
To start ... lay your waffle shaped pretzels on a baking sheet - make sure to leave room and not squeesh the pretzels too close together.
Then place one rolo on top of each pretzel
Bake at 350 for EXACTLY 3 minutes and 30 seconds. A second longer and the rolo becomes too soft and it makes a mess! (learned from experience) When the pretzels and rolos come out of the oven, gently press a pretzel on top of the rolo to make a 'sandwich'. It's not the prettiest dessert, but it's the most amazing balance of sweet and savory!
